Legendary Friendships: A Collaborative CBC Kickoff

The annual Craft Brewers Conference comes to Tennessee this year and members of the BeerAdvocate team will be in attendance to learn, network, and explore Nashville’s beer scene. We’re also relaunching our long-running, award-winning magazine as a quarterly.

We’ll be kicking off the week with Legendary Friendships: A Collaborative CBC Kickoff w/ Jackalope, MadTree, Weyerbacher & BeerAdvocate, a casual pay-as-you-go event at the Jackalope Brewing Company taproom where we look forward to seeing old friends and making new ones. Some of those friends will include employees of Ohio’s MadTree Brewing and Pennsylvania’s Weyerbacher Brewing, who will be there to celebrate new collaboration beers made with Jackalope:

1. Rocky Top (Weyerbacher collaboration): A Farmhouse Ale brewed with Pennsylvania rye and Tennessee honey.

2. Phone a Friend (MadTree collaboration): An American Pale Ale featuring Vienna and Dark Munich 30L malt from Briess, along with Nugget, Centennial, and Amarillo hops from Crosby Hop Farm.

So drop by to try beers, make friends, and prepare for what is sure to be another busy CBC week. Those who arrive early will also be able to grab a copy of our new spring issue, which highlights 50 of the best new breweries in the United States and Canada!
